 Dr. Sammy Pak, DDS

Dr. Sammy Pak, DDS is passionate about providing families in Woodinville, Bellevue, Shoreline, Tacoma, and Puyallup, Washington and its surrounding communities with comprehensive dental care that’s innovative, safe,  and effective. His training and experience equip him with the skills necessary to treat routine and complex oral health issues, and he also focuses on preventing dental problems at every stage of life. Dr. Pak welcomes patients of all ages to the offices of Sammy BD Pak, DDS. 

Dr. Pak completed his undergraduate studies at the well-respected La Sierra University in Riverside, California. He earned his DDS degree from Loma Linda University Dental School in 1999. Dr. Pak is an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Pierce County Dental Association, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. 

He received the coveted Golden Apple Award for New Dentist Legislative Leadership from the American Dental Association in 2008. He’s also had the honor and privilege of serving as President of the Pierce County Dental Society. 

Dr. Pak keeps pace with the latest developments in dental products and procedures through continuing education via postgraduate courses and professional conferences. His goal is to provide his patients with the best dental care available in a family-oriented and welcoming environment. 

He grew up on the Hawaiian island of Oahu and has fond memories of childhood adventures with his brother and sister, such as learning how to climb coconut trees. These days, Dr. Pak enjoys fishing with his friends and chasing a tiny white ball around the golf course while daydreaming about hitting a perfect hole in one. 

 Dr. John Popenoe, DDS

Dr. Popenoe is a Washington state native that grew up on the other side of the mountains in Ellensburg.  After finishing his degree in Biology at Central Washington University, he moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to attend Marquette University School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.  Four years later he returned to Washington to begin his dental career.

Throughout his career, Dr. Popenoe has continually educated himself to learn new technologies and treatment protocols to further provide his patients with the most advanced and comprehensive care available.  He has completed several comprehensive courses of studies from dental implant surgery, to the acclaimed Dawson Academy where he learned advanced dental techniques.

During his free time, Dr. Popenoe enjoys wandering the Pacific Northwest with his camera and creating landscape photography fine art.
